My boyfriend was an alcoholic for 35 years. Since meeting me and learning of my healthy lifestyle, he decided to stop drinking. He feels really, really good. He's healing. :). I see you what you're saying!! :D :D :D :D :D :D Would you mention more often the value of energy healing [chi kung, reiki etc] Spring Forest is a supersimple and powerful one..
Thanks Doc, You are absolutely right about Balance! Do as MUCH as you can and keep moving forward...I'm learning that now! When I try to do too much to fast, I have to take a step back and learn. For Me it is slow and steady as I go. Just call Me "Steady", LOL. That's a Good Thang, LOL..
we all take action, move, and DO things. but before* any of these these take motion - thoughts, words, movements ideas... there is inner stillness, there is the non action right there Before & prior (and during) and of these things we partake in & activate. WE are the activator! the silent chooser of our motions. reside in this. be here with this. not 100% lost and dragged into motion and activities (including thoughts and words). know. be the no-thing that's there prior**. spend a second here.. He's so positive.I bet he never has a bad day.God bless you for your outlook on life.Life is truly great and he probably never forgets that..
powerful investigation: without thought, what is there now do it with your eyes open or closed. >> I am, no labels, no random thinking... no stories, no nothing, just direct experience now....
I also feel that it's important to release victimhood around mainstream programming, their family of origin, one's over-dominant ego, and one's subconscious that no longer serves their life. Only then, I believe, can freedom really be experienced. No judgment, non-duality is the way, Dr. Morse, I send infinite love to you and everyone. . Wow, Dr.Morse you said ''if you put smiley faces on 100 trillion cells'' etc That was amazing, this is how i feel, like a smiley face, i guess it's cos my cells are happy !!.
Hi Doc that Rocks! Can you please address the connection between adrenals and other weaknesses that cause food cravings I'm convinced this is physiological. Especially evening cravings. I was on cortisone acetate for 4 years. The cravings for far and starch were immense. Thank you Dear One!.
somestimes when there's a bad/destructive/hurtful habit going on in others, its good to put your foot down, but of course, in love too :) still friends at heart. all good :). Hello Dr.Morse and all lovely youtubers! Doc, I send you a private message on youtube, because my story was too long to post it here, as a comment:D Hope you'll respond me in future video:) Waiting patiently :} Fruits and berries rock my world! i want to be eatin' only fruits all my life:D Have as really nice day, you all :}* . You are wonderful Dr Morse. I have learned so much from you... however I will never believe that God is a butt whipper. I believe that our own vibrations are the butt kickers... and if we evolve at a reasonably rapid rate and become high vibrating entities we will still will say and do stupid things, because we are always expanding, growing and learning... I am let go of the idea that God is into butt whipping. Hugs Yes, ever-flowing hugs, Peace.and APPRECIATION. :) I just LOVE the way to smile, and wave goodbye. :) It puts a big old grin on my face and makes me feel like a pure child of the light. .

Dr. Berstein was a pioneer when it comes to the advocacy of low carbohydrate diets in the treatment of diabetes. If there were any justice in this world, he should get more credit for that from the scientific community.. We admire your courage, your story is in privation to generations ahead, thanks for valuable information. . Love the book! Thanks for all your help. Last a1c was 5.1 with no meds! Still having trouble w dawn phenomenon though..
Absolutely great..u r an amazing human being..For record I am the first liker a d have the first comment..
This man is the most important person in controlling diabetes. No one else comes close. I hope this series gives him more exposure. He is so underexposed and at his age we need to help him get his message out. .
I am SO excited about these videos. Dr. B's book is a life-changer and so many can benefit from his teachings. I've been type 1 for 33 years, and Dr B's teachings have enabled me to lower my a1c to 4.8 safely. I can't say enough good things. .
it took someone with tremendous intellect to come up with these insights. but even much more than that, it took someone with tremendous heart and compassion and stubborness. there will never be another richard k. bernstein. feel grateful that you are living in his times..
Thank you Dr Bernstein you have changed our lives. My 9 yr old daughter was dignosed Aug this yr. Forever grateful for she is living a normal life with normal sugar levels thanks to you. .

Thank you Dr. Bernstein! I hope one day your work gets translated into Spanish. I was lucky to get a copy of your book and since then my life has changed. It has inspired me to try to change the lives of other diabetics in my country by applying your methods. We love you. .

This is something EVERY diabetic should watch. I've followed Dr. Bernstein's teachings for 5 years and have never had an A1c higher than 5.1, I am a type 1 with a c-peptide of 0.0...Amazing stuff that the ADA SHOULD be teaching!!!!!.

Thank you Dr Bernstein. Our family is eternally grateful for your approach to managing Type 1 Diabetes. .

I've been listening to Dr. Bernstein's teleseminars for about 2 years now (Discovered Dr.B. nine months after being diagnosed a Type 1). I've read Diabetes Solution as well and always learn new things. I've got to say that this new video method I have enjoyed immensely (Watched all 17 today) and it's great to be able to start from the beginning again which reinforces the knowledge I already had and I've learned new things here that I may have glossed over before. THANKYOU Dr. B for doing this excellent service. It really helps a Type 1 like me who lives in the countryside of Nevada and does not have nearby access to good healthcare facilities..

Thank you Dr. Bernstein. I was very fortunate when I was diagnosed, to have a friend tell me to read your book. My blood sugar is now under control thanks to your guidance!.

Your book pretty much saved my life Dr Bernstein, you'll forever be one of my heroes. 20 years type 1, last 7 years with normalised blood sugars after stumbling across your book. Retinopathy completely healed, all blood markers improved! Thank you..
30 years of type 1 complication free. Two healthy children. THANK YOU DR. BERNSTEIN!!!!. Thanks for putting this video together. Your approach to diabetes management has completely transformed my life and future. Prior to implementing your standards, my blood sugar control previously viewed has "excellent" by ADA, left me with a lackluster outlook on my future. Now that I have experienced the normal blood sugar control you and so many using your approach describe, I view each day as a new and bright opportunity to live my healthiest life, free of complications that most in our community assume must come with the territory. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I look forward to the next edition. There is a growing thirst for a better way. . Me being someone who has has hit 5.7 and/or a FPG of 101 over the past 10 or so years on occasion, I'm more than a little concerned. More often than not, both HbA1c and FPG are below the prediabetic threshold but not by a very comfortable margin. That said, I feel so fortunate to have landed on what I'm thinking will be a treasure trove of invaluable information for me. So glad you've weathered your challenges most admirably and are generous enough to share your experiences here. I'm looking forward to further educating myself at your university and doing all that I can to stay 'normal' as long as I possibly can. My first step, purchase the book. Thank you, Dr Bernstein..
Dr Bernstein is a genius, he really cares about helping people with diabetes to control their blood sugar and remain healthy. Amazing man considering the opposition he had to go through! There is so much mis-information about diabetes and diet out there but with Dr Bernstien the proof is in the meter. I'm prediabetic with a family history of type 2 diabetes, following his guidelines I am always able to lose weight and go off my BP soon as I go off his recommendations such as outside pressure and travel situations where I'm not in complete control of my diet I gain the weight back and end up needing BP meds again. I'm watching these videos and following his recommendations again and hope to improve my health and keep my blood sugars under control to stay healthy. Thank You Dr Bernstein! .

Dr Bernstein's teachings are life changing for persons with diabetes. There is so much valuable take home information about management and control. I credit him for my 2 very successful diabetic pregnancies with excellent control, and now have 2 beautiful and very healthy girls. The mainstream media is finally beginning to catch up with his recommendations for low carb eating. Using his principles my Hba1c is currently at 5.1 (I eat low carb, but I am not as strict as I should be about very low carb), I rarely have highs greater than 120 or lows ( I think my lowest in the past year was 69). My fasting is typically in the low 80s. I use basal-bolus insulin. Thank you Dr. B!!!.

Fellow type 1 here and absolutely LOVING your book that I am currently reading, thank you for everything that you do!!!! .

The ADA would be pretty much out of business if we listened to Dr. Bernstein. The fat-cat ADA executives would need new jobs. Drug companies would lose billions. Big Food would lose billions. Big Drug Store would lose billions. Just follow the money..
Sadly I think people are kept in the dark as a lot of people like doctors and pharmaceutical companies make a lot of money from this. Not all are as good as Dr Bernstein. At least the word is now getting out there. K. 4:30 YES! Thank you!!! I've been saying that for years, roller coasters ARE worse than high a1cs. They also feel really awful. I have not long been diagnosed with diabetes. For many years the doctors concentrated on my poor digestion and never did a full spectrum blood test. I am not a fat person and when I was diagnosed the Doctor said that I seemed to have had this for years, but because I wasn't obese, I was not flagged up for it! I have had iliotibial band syndrome for years on my left leg above the knee and was told by the hospital physiotherapist that I should just keep walking and it would ease off the possible adhesions I have there - No! I get worse walking on it for longer than 45 minutes. I now have small ongoing right eye retinal vessel hemorrhage, though it's not affecting the macular yet. I have just found your sessions on Youtube and am going to save up to buy your book ASAP - I am my mother's carer so low waged. She is diabetic too, so I am persuading my old Dad (in his 80's) to swap her foods for the low carb ideas on here. UK has miles to go, as their Doctors' diabetic clinics are still recommending 'starch based' diets in the Doctor's files patients receive on being diagnosed. Thank you for your lectures I am learning so much. Helen - Lake District, UK.
Thank you for your efforts and the book you wrote. Little less than a year ago I was diagnosed with diabetes with an A1C of 8.8. Now my A1C is 5.1 and I am off medication..

Superlongnight pills ( you can find it at w…superlongnight….c ) is a miracle. I took 1 pill like 45 minutes before intercourse and it did wonders. We made love 6 times non-stop and I think we could continue. Saved my whole relationship.. Yeah, SSRI antidepressants kill libido permanently. It does not takes years to reverse, it is permanent, not reversible, brain damage. Like in my case, I have PSSD.. I find your topic really interesting. We should talk to a doctor before we consume any drug. I do not have sexual dysfunctions but I think I will in some years. Which is why I consume natural products that help me enhance my sexual performance. For instance, maca, mashua, oca, quinoa, etc. They are products from my country,Perú.. I'm in decent but not fantastic physical condition. I was noticing occasional erection problems, particularly when stressed or tired. _Fx48solutions Pill_seems to overcome any level of stress or fatigue for me. A miracle product, but very expensive. Best of all is having a happy wife.. Very pleased with fx48solutions pills..It has helped me in several ways and would highly recommend to any man who needs an extra boost. Prolargentsize herbal pill is working for me. My loads are much larger and I'm able to orgasm and be ready to go again. These are great and are really giving my love life a much needed boost. My penis size looks bigger.. I love this stuff prolargent5X5 extreme. I'm 30 and started to notice some issues bedroom performance or lack there of. It caused problems in my marriage. It got to a point where I avoided even trying to get busy which caused more problems in the marriage. Now when I took this stuff, wooow wooow wow!!! You wont notice it’s working until its time for it to work. It will make you feel like a man again. .
All these drugs are a form of population control decrease...also causing infidelity in a normal relationship...even divorce...turning some people miserable fridged blocks of ice....

Prolargentsize herbal pill is working for me. My loads are much larger and I'm able to orgasm and be ready to go again. These are great and are really giving my love life a much needed boost. My penis size looks bigger..
Hello! Thanks for this useful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Sozumflex Secrets (just google it), but I'm not sure if it's good. Have you tried using Sozumflex Secrets I have heard several unbelivable things about it and my friend finally can last longer in bed with it, but he refuses to tell me. I am sending this message from USA. Thank you for Prolargentsize herbal capsules, the products have saved my marriage. On the verge of a divorce, regular use of Prolargentsize has saved my marriage. And my wife is so happy now. I buy this product from Prolargentsize website.. Corrina always looks like shes smiling, even when shes not smiling..must be all those good massages :).
I have similar experience after one year of using risperdal (for relatively mild problem with stress in the work). During usage I have no interest in sex at all. After stopping using risp. i did notice that I did have problem to penetrate women. I did never have this problem before.. I noticed it's more like psychlogical problem.. like in everybody else.. but more severe.. Seems curable. neuro. net is dynamic. But shame on farmabrother. Strange that users are defending doctors..
I already did. Dr. Breggin hasn't written much about this issue at all, and he doesn't say anything about people having genital anesthesia as a result of taking psychiatric drugs. In fact, when I emailed him about it, his wife, Ginger, emailed me back and told me that they could not direct me to any studies done about it. . Your video on sexual dysfunction is very dangerous and misinformed, your actually encouraging patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, major depression to stop taking their medication! Sex is 90% psychological, and sex is for reproduction, ask mother nature! . I was a NIH patient in the 1960s as a VSD Birthdefect child Sometimes I am in aw in knowing more about health issues that many times I thought it was known by the common man. Most of the time I feel that i am not believed . Men capsule works very good. Make you strong and lots of power at bed. Make women happy. I will order capsules of “prolargentsize” again,,thank you. I order my product on**.prolargentsize…. 2 nothing980454 yo, what's with the attitude how can you prove your shit is dumb. Did you let it take a test and it failed horribly now you have to call it a dumbshit or what. Great video hun!! I think most cases are psychological. It could be something you experience as a child that scares you unconsciously from being present physically and mentally to enjoy that moment!!.
2 nothing980454 See you're finding the of how I spelled it, your not trying to understand of what you said is immature and primitive. Your putting the blame on others like its not my fault, its others- I couldn't be wrong cause it's not my comment. Well let me ask you, Do you feel superior if you point out other's mistakes and mocking them.
2 MrMaryJanes My experiences with Cannabis in combination with sex is that I can do it more times in one night, erection last to the end, and that I get quite inventive with technics. Got positive response from partner. Since I use ganja for 24 years, and I remember this effect as consistently over the years, it seems to be a good help for sexual problems. By the way, Lester Grinspoon also had positive experiences in his sex life. However, he’s not that explicit about it.. Read a very revealing book... even shocking... called "Toxic Psychiatry" by psychiatrist Dr. Peter Breggin..
whenever i have trouble getting an erection i just watch a PsycheTruth video with Corrina in it. oh yeah, Corrina is definitely an aphrodisiac. .
Guys, achieve total control over your premature ejaculation doesn't have to be hard (I used to feel it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Search a course known as Sozumflex Secrets (do a google search). Seriously, I finally achieve total control over my premature ejaculation. I probably shouldn't even be talking about it cause I don't want a bunch of other guys out there running the same "game" but whatever, I am in a great mood today so I will share the wealth haha.. 2 LindaKay1948 Thank you for your honesty, which has prompted me to write..This has happened to me too.. nearly ten years after coming off SSRIs and SNRIs (Prozac and Venlafaxine / Effexor) I have had a problem with erectile dysfunction. I'm now in my early forties, and those drugs were a disaster for me at the time, and with long-term effects that I never anticipated. I'm sure they're efficacious for many, and depression is a dreadful thing, but all I can say is caveat emptor.. I hadnt had sex for two years and after a week on Valium i was having sex twice a day...i highly recommend it for increased sexual desire..
2 LindaKay1948 Thank you so much for your comment. I feel terrible that this happened to you and want to thank you for sharing your story. .
My brother (44) is an MD, PhD who is probably in the top 5% in terms of published peer reviewed medical research. All I can say is he is no anti-drug (even illegal drug) ninny by any stretch. e.g. MJ vs. Alcohol No contest MJ better. The ONE drug that he is almost hysterically against are benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax). These are HORRIBLE drugs that stop working super fast and, as stated in the video, lead to literally up to a YEAR of PHYSICAL withdrawal. .
Every drug has some side effects. So instead of overintake of such one can discuss it with doc and then go ahead. Erectile dysfunction was not popular but viagra made it popular and but obvious its a genuine medicine... .
Thank you for the vid. I never write reviews; however, I was compelled to write on for " prolargent5x5 " ( search it in google) I have used many over the counter male enhancements, but this one is the best of the best. . 2 psychetruth I'm from the group also. It's been 5 years since the criminal Jeff Palacios in psychiatry gave me risperdal supposedly for my heart condition. I am numb, chronically dizzy, painful stiff muscles, nightmares, and suffer lost abilities even after five years of not taking any drug. I found out later that the number one reported side effect is death. I am not lucky to be alive to live like this, and nobody cares once you get labeled by the criminal scum..
2 psychetruth Thank you for addressing this issue, and for giving out info for reporting adverse effects. I had already reported my loss to MedWatch, but did not know about the National Institute of Health. The good news is that, although my sexuality has been taken away, I have been able to recover emotionally without psychiatric drugs, and find joy in my life by working with children. I feel sad, though, when I see so many of them being given toxic substances that may ruin their lives. .
It seems that sexual dysfunction produced from antipsychotics is being ignored. I have been off of them for over 27 yrs and yet I have no libido and am totally numb in my saddle area. At first, no doctor would believe me. I am in a group of people, many of whom have experienced what I have, some quite a few YEARS after discontinuing SSRIs. Even though members of that group have taken more socially acceptable kinds of drugs, many are finding that their doctors don't believe them either. .
2 TerrierBram Agreed. These college fucktards will say anything they read in a book written by big pharma, with no factual basis. Unsubbed also. Cannabis=Harmless..
This is one of the most brilliant presentations I've ever watched. I've dealt with most of the medications/illicit drugs described, and she's totally right. There are two components. Labido, and keeping it up. They're very different, but lack of labido is key. I'm 55, have taken Viagra, etc., been stabile, but not been able to finish due to blood pressure meds (Clonadine - notrious for killing labido), because they prohibit our ability to think kinky thoughts, which makes it all begin! Ask me!. Corinna, the doctors believed LindaKay1948 and all the group members. They are lying. Selling those drugs is profitable for not only the drug companies but for the doctors too. Sexual release, sexual intimacy, sexual endorphines coarsing through our bodies and even the associated cardio-pulmonary exercise are all good for us mentally, emotionally and physically. That alone is enough motivation for them to knowlingly destroy our sex lives then deny that they are. Right Thanks, beautiful Corinna.
2 nothing980454 There you go again, alluding your mistake and blaming me, its not your fault that you have to be always right in a conversation. Oh I'm rude, Well, okay since you always have to be right. Every conversation we had I always have to be wrong and you right. I wonder how you sleep at night everybody has to be molded to your liking for you to even consider talking with them. Pathetic!!! .
Thanks for posting this. Men won't talk about this stuff. The side effect on these drugs is really dangerous including loss of vision. If one is having erectile problem and they aren't psychological, one needs to consider one general arterial health. Again thanks because I can share this link with others. . Thank you for putting up these vids. Please dont mind the immature comments by the kids on here. The adults appreciate all the work you guys put into the vids and the information you guys share with us. Thanks again! . I've noticed consulting a lawyer and saying you would like to sue the company for post neuroleptic/anti-depressant sexual dysfunction usually gets a reply that you would probably get sued back for defamation..
I seriously doubt that, seeing as she put on 50 lbs since we dated from all the garbage she takes. Ahhhhhaaaahaaa.

Is there a cure for premature ejaculation Everywhere I look, there are plenty of "cures" but you would need to pay for them or they don't work. I am suffering from this and I am asking everyone for advice or anything. Are there any real cure that are also free Are there anyone who actually cured it I thank you in advance. I am very grateful for any answers/help...Please help, I'm 22 yrs And I have PE, .

ciggaretes are the biggest erection killer that I have ever came in contact with, but it's not the nicotine is the carbon monoxide, within an hour of quiting my cock grew in girth and size.
Thanks for the video. I have got prolargent 5x5 from w...prolargent5x5...commm This stuff works better than anything else I've tried. And I've tried quite a few. The only drawback is the price but believe it worths every penny you pay for because it is all natural no headache and stuff...:) .
2 BongNavaro Sorry for this late reply. It was working so well. Thank for recommending my husband on this program offered by the site: He ad never lasts do long in his life according to him. He was doing pretty well on our making love. It was awesome!.
Exercise, cannabis and lots of female curves does it for me. However, exercise and cannabis aren’t essential, but enhance it for sure.. I KNOW it's not a psychological problem for me. I have lived without libido and feelings now for over 28 years. I don't think I'll ever be cured. I have corresponded with a woman who took Risperdal. She too has been numb for years. One woman who had been on an SSRI and discontinued it told me that she had her 4th child with no pain because she had acquired genital anethesia from the drug. She too has been numb for years. . 2 nothing980454 yeah, its my fault you have a dirty and premature mind set. My bad, for correcting a childish joke. You can rest assure a night when you have you thumb-sucking in your race car bed wondering if the boogey man will jump out of the closet that it was my fault. Again my I'm sorry for taking you seriously when obviously your still a child. P.S.:Yo Gaba-gabba is in other channel.
Of course this video would get into the usual anti-psychiatry garbage they love to spew. Which is more important- being oriented to reality and sane, or being able to have an erection Easy answer to me..
“Marijuana is also on that list” … and what do you suggest with that statement Actually marijuana, cannabinoids click in our basic system, endo cannabinoid system that regulates everything, including the sexual function. Second, cannabinoids cause the vessels to get wider. Well, kind of handy when you want to have a boner, isn’t it So I’m quite pissed off with again such a negative suggesting hint in the direction of Cannabis. For me a reason to unsubscribe. Hate this. . *** And... What about the Feminist Workers in the VAWA funded shelter who Coach them on how to do that And... What about the Law-makers such as Joe Biden who draft/pass laws like VAWA that make this legal And... What about the Feminist that push their Misandristic Men-Hating Agenda and brain-wash the public with their lies that... I do not deny that the medication had a positive effect on you. They just aren't shown to work better than a placebo. If you just do what you're supposed to do naturally to make (and keep) yourself healthy- eat healthy, exercise, make friends, avoid self destructive behavior, etc. you can achieve wellness just the same. I think it's risky business for many people to take medications when they don't need them. Most people are not willing to put in the work to make themselves better..
Pill size Wow! OMG How on Earth did humans ever get placebo power. I love the amazing things on Earth and I love how we will never know for sure the answers to all the questions.. We as people are a bunch of guinea pigs for these psychiatrist cocksuckers, aren't we We take their horrible rotten crap they dare call "medication" that has horrible side effects, like suicide and akathisia, but then years later these cocksuckers find out after using their guinea pigs that the medication has no better effect than a PLACEBO!!! WHAT THE FUCK PSYCHIATRISTS, FUCK YOU FOR RUINING LIVES FAGGOTS!!. I hope that the information about the placebo effect is correct. I can accept almost all the placebo effect except when you tell the patient that they are getting a placebo and that they know what placebo means and that it has an effect. I now wonder how powerful the human brain is and how and why it has learned to respond to placebo. I wonder if the only way to discern a drugs effect is to sneak it into the patient with out his knowledge. LOL Wow!. So basically this guy is saying that antidepressants, a medication with serious to horrible side effects has no more effect than a placebo pill...hahahaha, psychiatrist are bunch of fucking cocksuckers, I'm done...
Lost my best friend to psych drugs a few weeks ago. He always did better without them. Suicide warnings shouls be in the biggest font on the bottle..

So the book 'The Depression Cure' actually shows that the authors' approach is better than medication AND therapy. .

Cancer must be someone's fault then, just like depression That's something terrible to say... Just eat healthier I guess!.

Hey hey Psychetruth! I was wondering if you guys know the on air personalities for "The Athiest Experience" also based in Austin TX If so and if you have a good rapport with them would you ever consider doing a collaboration with them of some sort.

A strong case for MBCT over pharmacotherapy. In fact, MBCT is supported by the UK National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE)..
The same effect could be applied on say therapy, where instead of administering a drug you could simply have the person change their lifestyle as a form of treatment. I'm sure there would be a form of placebo effect in this form of treatment that would not only save the patient money, but also keep them away from the actual side effects drugs bring in..
I am reading a book at the moment that echos what Dr Ross is saying, 'Cracked: Why Psychiatry is Doing More Harm Than Good' by James Davies. If everyone knew there is no scientific justification for the millions of antidepressant prescriptions filled every year, then the whole psych drug industry would fall. Then maybe people would realise how much environmental factors influence their neurophysiology. .
I understand depression it is real and we can be genetically predisposed to it but that doesn't mean we will become depressed. It takes environmental triggers to activate the depression. Studies by people like Dr Gabor Mate, for instance, have proven that's how genes work. You need both to bring on symptoms. You can have the genes and never suffer the disease.. Get a job and move out of your mom's basement. Then you won't have time to worry about that shit.. Self control of one's physiology is the best way to feel better. Going out doing exercise works good too. . yeah I wasn't very sure about when he said that about the placebo effect either. But, I have read about the placebo effect and found information that says there are many contributing factors that make placebos work- including pill size, pill color, etc. .
People won't accept the facts. By playing the victim game it gets them off the hook and they don't have to accept responsibility for their own health. Depression is real but we need two factors to bring on symptoms, genetic predisposition and environmental factors. Dietary changes and many other life style changes can alleviate symptoms. Don't buy the lies of Big Pharma some of their meds are diabolical..

Pyschiatry is a disgrace, it is an atrocity upon humanity. Psyhchiatry, the industry of death...fucking disgraceful bastards..
I have an anxiety disorder and it keeps coming back without warnings, even if i am driving. As far as i understood what is going on in my body and trying to address and search on line for remedies, i've learn a few handful basic techniques to try calming myself but quite not good enough.,I am a coffee drinker, a thinker, i tend to skip meals and quite choosy with friends. I stay home with my Mother and officially unemployed. Just sharing my story. Is stresstabs helping my condition . So you were getting C's D's and F's and now you are getting A's and B's in the same subjects . yeah it's pretty amazing. evidence is showing that the placebo effect is getting even stronger. .
listening to music and turning it up! Hugs and lots of them talk therapy talk it out don't keep it in. SEX if you can get it Ha ha and do it with someone safe and who you can trust and love. And get out there Camping at the beach climbing Mountains riding your bike swimming surfing skating Cooking and drinking wine just a little self control for sure Sleeping in nature on the ground near a fire... walking barefoot on grass for 15 min. And most of all have FUN!!!. .

I always thought anti-depressants were placebo. Especially SSRI's. Doctors have given me countless SSRI's for anxiety and they do fuck all. Now, give me a Benzo and there we have real power. Of course benzo's are terrible for long term, but at least they work..
You are right on the message, how refreshing to hear such common sense. Many thanks for this and so many others. I always watch with great interest.. I agree with the effectiveness of placebos vs. the real drug but my question is if the possibility of the real drug is removed the placebo effect will be too, how can these people who seem to have only had success with meds then be helped, even if their success was the placebo effect How can we remove meds from society when they are so ingrained that even when they literally do nothing they still help .
Ridiculous. Sounds like you are part of the new Tom Cruise school of psychiatry. The drugs do work for some people. The key is to find the right drug. For those people who want to do the research, PubMed is a vast storehouse of 10's of thousands of double blind studies that compare placebos's against name brand and generic drugs. What is the purpose of this video I will say this; anyone who was ever helped by a placebo was not seriously or clinically depressed to begin with..

Raederle below talked about fruits having high glucose.. understand that fructose and glucose help each other be digested and processed... so combination, as in fruit, reduces the sugar spike from both sugars.. Throw away the prescriptions if you wish to stop Psoriasis, pills just damages the body's immune system and gradually makes it even worse.. Rather, try out the natural remedy. It's actually a lot safer and the outcome can last for long, go here to find out more: You state in an article that vegetables are an overdose of glucose, and that fruits are ideal. As a raw vegan myself, and a nutritionist, I am scratching my head saying, "But fruits have way more glucose than vegetables!" Here are some numbers: One cup mashed banana: Glucose 11,204mg Fructose 10,912mg One head of romaine lettuce: Glucose 2,441mg Fructose 5,008mg One wedge of watermelon: Glucose 4,519mg Fructose 9,608mg One bunch of spinach: Glucose 374mg Fructose 510mg. I'm blown away by the like minded comments here. My story is i CURED my 10+ years of alcoholism and deep depression with raw foods, juices and herbal supplements. Mainly in the beginning the herbs were important but the deep healing took place with the juicing and the elimination fo all junk food, and that to me was meat and dairy. Is there a conspiracy Who knows but there are energies as Dr.Morse explains eloquently. David from Scotland. I would ignore the troubled...Many times the more you respond to them the more they continue...Happened on Dan the Man Channel. He finally stop adressing them..It was a distraction from the great love and knowledge being spread.... And I am now understanding that regeneration IS about thoroughly detoxing the body, giving it high energy foods and thoughts, and allowing it to do its miraculous thing. It's good you do not have any pressing physical conditions and can really relax and enjoy the journey - and an awesome journey it is! :))).
Agreed! I have found it to be true, that whatever I focus on gets bigger. Our focus is powerful, and a focalizing point of Creation Itself!!! Pretty awesome!!! :))).

No matter what the interactions on the Facebook Fan page appear to be, there are valuable lessons to be learned in nearly every exchange and there are no persistent trouble makers. The spirit of brotherhood is alive and well there every time I visit. It truly is a great blessing and we are all in Talie's debt for starting it..
I remember when all this "stuff" was surrpressed. I'm so glad we overcame that. We can overcome the remaining resistance! : ). Maybe cuz they'd B eaten alive here, so 2 speak, but I do find it interesting how little antagonism, so few trolls & such I see commenting here on robertmorsend videos. Consider how much antagonism, how many detractors durianrider, freelee & Dr. Doug Graham too suffer, at least in the comments section of their videos. They all have & promote fruitarian-based diets. Sure durianrider posts videos ridiculing Paleo Dieters, Sally Fallon of Weston Price, et al. Ya, I guess that's their karmic rebuke.. While you are waiting for Dr M's response, you might like to check out "Questions and Answers 26, Part 6" where he talks about a man who had a large section of jaw removed and as he detoxed, the jaw grew back!!!! This is what I am most intrigued by is learning about this power that our bodies have to regenerate!!! Also another great regeneration segment on "Q & A 25, Part 2" and "The Healing Experience, Part 1". You can see I've been going through every video and I'm taking lots of notes! :))) . Yes it is. I think this Q&A format is really geared to giving people some suggestions for their personal situation. It gives more people some access to Dr M. I appreciate getting to listen in and learn. On the main YouTube channel page, there is a Search box in the upper right-hand corner. This will help to locate videos in the archive with your subject. I just got his book, which I think, will bring some of the general concepts together. HAPPY REGENERATING!!! :))). Question for Dr. M: I too have seen these other world parasitic "remora" hanging around people. Is it our duty to remove these beings from people or, are we supposed to leave them there as a function of the soul working out Karma Thanks, (I am now learning from you everything I was supposed to learn the first time in school). Blessings.and much Love. .
Rawbrahs are not 100% raw and eat some meat now and then, but they are bringing the message to our young people of the importance of a high raw diet. Good enough for me :-) I have met them and they have nice souls. .
experiences are priceless... sometimes awesome, sometimes a bit raw.= always there for the the learning. i always come home to that knowing... :) i thank you for sharing your wisdom + info..

GUYS PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS If you are considering doing anything with antidepressants or anti anxiety meds or mood stabilizers in general PLEASE talk to a doctor before you do so. Make sure if you are going to start taking meds that they are prescribed to YOU by YOUR doctor and if you want to come off or switch consult a doctor first because it can make you really sick (physically and mentally) if you just stop taking them. Please be careful guys because meds can be dangerous if not used correctly.. It's nice that you're looking out for others but I'm struggling to see how anybody could get a hold of Ads without a prescription from their doc. Overall your message is correct but the chance that happening is a slim one. :P.
I had to pause the video and just say before I continue... MCBUSTED! Also so glad you're back 😛👍.
im studying nutrition in college and if you don't want to take antidepressants and you arent allergic to nuts, there is a chemical in cashew nuts that helps to balance out the hormones in your system. so if you arent up for taking tablets everyday just increase your cashew nut intake. its been proven to help.
+Hannah Sixx I want to try this :o I've had depression for more than 8 years, I tried my best to stay stress-free/healthy. Nevertheless, no change, so I eventually went on antidepressants. I finally felt like other people, I was no longer always numb., but like every medication, there were side effects. Side effects are friggin scary! My hair thinned(really fast) and it falls out more frequently! I want to ween off of it to stop further hairloss(sorry if this sounds very vain..); however, I'm scared of falling back into my lifeless/robotic state. My therapist did say I had to weigh the consequences... but i really don't know. Would eating these really help with the chemical imbalance 2 Healthy Veggies Would foods really not help with my chemical imbalance :l Any recommendations Should I just continue taking this antidepressant (Wellbutrin).

+Hannah Sixx Cashews are a potentially moldy food so if you experience unpleasant mental symptoms from taking them, be sure to try something else..

I stopped taking my meds in December 2014 and I had withdrawals for about a month. Headaches, shaking, vomiting, insomnia etc. (btw I was on topamax, abilify, cogentin, Benadryl (for sleep), and Luvox) now it's the end of March and I feel fine physically my withdrawal symptoms are gone. But recently my temper has been terrible, my mood swings have been scary bad and I've been getting suicidal suddenly. My mom keeps saying things like "I'm so glad you're not on that medicine anymore" but maybe it was helping me. She stopped taking me to my psychaitrist and there's no way for me to get refills. Does anybody have any advice .
Well very shortened down i asked if you had any advice for me when i come off of sertraline i've been on it for over 3 years also i said thanks for all of the videos you've made over the past 3 years i've been watching you've helped me to become more confident and happy to just be me and i'd love to meet you one day. Thanks for reading this as well it's super long. During my recent visit to the hospital my new doctor has finally diagnosed a dissociative disorder for me. She has taken me off of Citalopram and I will start on Seroxat soon. I`m a little nervous about the new medication because I`ve never had it before.. I had the same problem Sertraline! It simply made me feel worse, and I've been feeling much better since going off of it..
Propanolol doesn't help with depression, just for anxiety attacks. Had it with citalopram and my god it works wonders (but side effects aren't fun for the first two weeks).
My psychologist has recommended to go to the doctor and get anti depressants kinda scared but hoping it will help . don't do it please there are other better alternatives, I'm struggling badly from anti depressant withdrawal i took them for two years.. I had the exact same experience as you. Chemical unbalance, therapy is good for finding ways to cope sometimes but mostly the whole "talking it through" doesn't really do much. Gained weight without realising until I looked back on photos of when I thought I was fat, would kill to be that size again! The first one I was put on was citalopram, the side effects from that at the start made me so nauseous I couldn't move from bed or I'd be sick. It didn't help after 6mo so they put me on sertraline instead, been on it for almost 2 years now and just made the decision to come off because it's affecting my ability to experience happy emotions fully. Hopefully I can gain some inspiration from you and stick with it! Love, a fellow northerner x.
I just started kinda like 3-4 months ago and so far on my 3rd type First was lexapro and just not my thing man I was the crankyest fuck Effexor losest dosage was ok but didn't do much Currently on Effexor one of the higher dosages and I'm gunna change its not doing enough and I've been on it for about a month now and just eh Side affects and coming down from it is just argh shit. Dry throat, tired all the time, cranky, emotional eye;( side affects ) coming down is just unexplainable I hate it .

I'm not alone on the prozac weight gain! My doctor told me I was being silly and must be eating more and lying to her when I gained weight on mine (I have an ED and being called a liar like that hurt so much). I came off it pretty quick because the weight gain sent my mental health spiralling down pretty fast, I'm glad I wasn't just being crazy when I got that though. I'm trying to do without meds too..

Don't start benzodiazepines. Just avoid them. They are super addictive and if I don't take them i withdrawal and it's the worst. I've become unfortunately dependent on them so please don't take benzodiazepines unless you absolutely have to! They work but the downsides are vile. .
All the negative things said about SSRI's has really scared me but I feel like in order for me to move forward with my life I need them short term just to help me with basic things that everyone else seems to be able to do which I can't (cant get a job, cant learn to drive, cant socialise anymore, cant even order food for myself at a restauant or eat in public its that bad) I feel like medication is my last resort, otherwise I may as well just kill myself now and get it over with bc this is not a life I want to live... Did you experience loss of sex drive I'm 23 and been on and off antidepressants for 4 yrs currently on them. I want to get off paxil!! . Call me stupid but I constantly seem to fall in love with people older, I don't know what to do I slept with a 21 year old and fell in love with him but he was just using me. I still have this issue which older people can you please give me some advice I'm so lost now. talking about horrible withdrawal - were you coming off the meds gradually, slowly because that's a must o.o i mean, late advice, but it sounds like you came off them from day to day and that's the worst idea... (maybe i got it wrong though).
I've tried most of those, recently (a few days ago) I started taking seroquel... heh WORST experience. I felt light headed, my mouth was numb, my speech was slurred, tons of other things... haha not taking it again. I tried the medication route, which wasn't the first thing I tried as well... but I think I'm just going to have to figure out something else because I either can't handle the medication or it just doesn't work..

A suicide attampt is all it took for me to be put on anti-depressants. After 6 months of taking it, I started to see that the anti-depressants have stopped working. Slowly, my therapist weaned off of them, and I'm currently off of them. :) in all honesty, I never thought I would ever need anti-depressants. You're strong. I admire that about you and that is why I subscribed to your channel. We need more you tubers like you..
Hi laura can i say the worst side effect ive had with mi medication was haloperidol now i dont think this is prescribed that much nowadays but it certainly is if you go into pschiatric hostpital but this really effected me BAD!!!! My muscles were stiff and tense my neck seemed to tilt back my eyes wanted to look up and my tounge seemed like it was stiff too it was quiete scarey first time it happend but if anyone gets this because i know a few other neds do this but you will need to get a drug called PROCYCLIDINE sooner rather than later if you experiance any of these above symtoms with m.h drugs thanx nina.xx.
there's a lot of studies available for music typey stuff, just look around a bit and i'm sure you can find courses that fit you. :).

Even with the weight gain she still looked great. As long as one is eating healthy, feeling great, and living a balanced lifestyle, than one shouldn't really give a flying fuck if they've gone a tad curvier or chubbed up a little..
since beginning lexapro i've gained 15-20 pounds and i've found it nearly impossible to lose weight! i would diet and exercise yet it wouldn't budge.. I understand you may not have felt numb on antidepressants, but it definitely does happen, especially when the dose is too high. I've been on antidepressants for four years and tried my share of different types, and through all the trial and error some of my worst times were when I was numbed to the point where I wanted to kill myself to escape it. .
I took 8 of my mums 100mg anti depressants, I was rushed to the hospital and that's also when my eating disorder came on again.

I'm on day 5 of my first go at antidepressants... so far not a fan, but I've promised to give it at least a couple weeks. Thanks for the honest insight. .
I stopped taking my medication, and I really wish I hadn't. It's been several months now, and I've gotten worse. I've lost the majority of my friends because of it I think. I didn't want to be on the medication route but I've realized I'm not better yet. I was on them for around five years, and I'm looking to go back on them again. Thank you for making this video.
Thank you for being brave and making this! I have always been very afraid to consider medications for my depression, especially out of fear of addiction and withdrawals, so thank you for sharing that there can be good effect of considering medication (i.e. learning new, healthier habits)... but I do also appreciate that in the end you did still say that natural remedies are also good to consider - I've always thought St. Johns wort was a good thing to suggest in that case I also want to thank you SO much for mentioning that even though you had bad experiences with counselling, you still kept trying! That is such an amazing thing for you to do, as so many people get deterred from counselling after only one bad experience. The sad thing with counselling is that having a good experience depends on finding a good professional that you click with in some way - hence so many people not having good experiences the first time; because you cant always expect to find the right professional that clicks with you right away - so with this, I think you are a HUGE source of encouragement for anyone who's had a difficult time with counselling, to maybe give it another try. So in the end, I just wanted to thank you for caring so much by making videos of support like this!.
It was interesting to hear how Prozac affected your anxiety and your overall well being. For me, I was put on Prozac for my anxiety last year and it didn't seem to help at all, awful side effects to the point my doctor put me on benzodiazepines for a month to help cope with them. Luckily I am now on a different medication that seems to be promising. I asked my therapist about the whole idea of "feeling numb" whilst being on antidepressants and she explained to me that anti-depressants (in simple terms) are meant to keep you in a sort of band that stops you from going too far low, but on the flip side, it can stop you from feeling very high (in mood terms). I think this is why people feel say they feel "numb" because they're in a kind of limbo between happy and sad.. +8BitCarni Antidepressants shouldn't make you feel numb, if they do you should try a different one. My mum had that problem when she tried a new antidepressant after being off them for a few years so she went to her doctor and begged them to put her back on Paxil. They did and she has never been better, her moods are just normal now with highs/lows like everyone else.. See I wish I could come off my medication. But if I did my mental health, my moods and my aggression would come out of control. Plus the voices would be out of control. I am on citalpram and quetiapine both max doses. I had a bad week last week. But I was 40 sad I know. I admire you, but I would end up in the roesberry suite. If you live in Middlesbrough or teesside you know what that place is. Hell on earth !!!!! But good luck and I hope you can stay off the Meds. 23 years I have been on them..
Thanks Laura for sharing and for the inspiration. I love your channel. I re-started my own mental health channel (I have bp 1) If anyone is interested, check it out! .
I just want to say that antidepressants can stop other emotions, when i was taking them i was entirely numb. It won't happen to everyone but it's not right to say it won't happen because it can. If it does it's not the right medication for you and you should talk to your doctor about switching medications. Antidepressants are supposed to help make you happy not numb . Zoloft was the worst for me, my hair was falling out & I was shaking constantly. But the side effects are always different depending on the person. Natural remedies definitely work better for me c:. Story time: I've been on Zoloft for almost a year now. When I had the prescribed to me I hated the idea of taking them because I didn't want to recover from my suicidality. Anyways, I didn't take the 50mg for 3 months after being in it for about five. I felt absolutely no side effects or felt any different in a negative way at all. Then, my psychologist bumped it up to 100mg all of a sudden and I had an complete hellish time adjusting. I was sweating and shaking constantly. Running fevers, passing out and shit. It was awful. Never going cold turkey again. . I've been wondering something; If you experience the weight gain with antidepressants, can you take another medication with it to reduce or block the weight gain. Despite me having been diagnosed with major depressive disorder w psychotic symptoms, borderline personality disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder, I was surprised to find that even after I was put into the mental hospital for a week, they did not really do much in the way of medicating me. I do take medications, but because I have anorexia/bulimia sub type I was anal retentive about the idea of weight gain and resistant to the idea of aby that would make me gain, so they stayed away from medications that I feel probably could've been helpful to me, which begs the question, why do so many of these medications have to make us gain weight I guess its a catch 22..I do take trazodone which is allegedly an anti depressant, but it does little in the way of assisting my depression and just makes me sleep like 13 hours a night. Its actually awful. I only take it at bedtime. .
Yes I have anorexia and bulimia sub type would be good to have a medication that isn't triggering so that I can be happy too one day :/.
+Deluxe Deluxe I have Depression and Anxiety, and an unclassified eating disorder. I can go days without eating. I am recently diagnosed and my doctor has put me on Zoloft but i don't like the way it makes me feel. I understand where you are coming from. On the other hand, I really want to gain back the 15 lbs I lost. Which antidepressant besides Paxil do you know will assist me in doing so. I found therapy to be utterly useless. And it was unfortunate because I did some research into many of the different figures in psychiatry and found it to be inspiring and empowering information. Actually I think self-analysis was the most helpful. A therapist can know something powerful and potentially healing but if you are not ready to accept it then it cannot be forced upon you, and nor can you force it upon yourself with any kind of results. Some stuff only needs to be brought to your attention to be healed, but the big stuff requires the right time and the right approach to be properly dealt. It's possible but unlikely that a therapist will just happen to be with you at the right time and come with the right approach to help stimulate any real deep change in you. At several hundred dollars an hour your time is much better spent elsewhere. Please don't rely on SSRI's because at best they are marginally better than placebo's and the dangers are well too documented.. Hey Laura...great video. I like to ask you something. I'm on fluoxetine now,but it doesn't work, there is no change. Can you maybe advise me another antidepressive, with than you got good experiances or what you would recommend . Medications effect different people in different ways. Each experience is a unique one. You'll have to just see what works best for you, there is no recommending unfortunately :P Trial and error!. Hey Laura! Your hair looks really amazing! Uhm, so I wanted to ask you this for a really long time. I've been depressed for, uh, I think five years now, had several anxiety attacks, social anxiety and my parents haven't got a clue of how I'm feeling. I've never really told them anything about, well, uh, anything at all. But unfortunatly my depression got a whole other side to it, and I'm not really able to deal with it anymore. Now is my question, how do I get antidepressants without my parents totally over-reacting I don't want them to be worried or think I'm a monster. . I take almost all her medications except I do you take allergy medication and asthma medication occasionally but her than that all of mine are herbal or homeopathic and it really really works for me in fact save my life. hey same for me. prozac helped with my anxiety attacks but they switched me recently because it wasn't doing anything for the depression and the new medication is shit. i feel worse than before i started medications.
This isn't sexual, but kind of relationshippy. Could you make s video about keeping friends/ partners while having a mental disorder I love your videos, thank you :3.
Is it possible that anit-depressents numbs feelings for sum and not for others. A close friend says it really does take out the lows but also the highs. so she gets on a sort of baseline emotion. That you could call numbed. What do you think about this .

I wanted to say thank you! I was prescribed an antidepressant and been caring it around for a month in my purse. I was diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety. I'm experiencing that funk of not getting out if bed and just feel like sad. but not to the point of hurting myself. I yearn to be my happy self again. I was outgoing but now I'm scared. my husband feels so bad he wish he could help me. it's hard to share this to your family they don't understand nor believe in medication. you give me some hope. I feel like I'm all alone in this..

My pleasure! I'm so glad it's helped and you're absolutely not in this alone, everyone struggles sometimes, some more than others but I don't think it's any different to two people catching the same cold and one struggling with it a bit more than the other! You're going to be alright xxxx.

I've only just come across your channel but I can relate to you in so many ways! Loved hearing your story about depression, I've recently been prescribed Sertraline when both depression and anxiety nearly ruined every relationship I had with every important person in my life. But I feel like its given me the push I needed to get back to the happy me.. Do you have any books on mindfulness I'm thinking of getting one to refer back to.. Anyway sorry for rambling just felt like I related to you so much x.

+jlord37 I don't know what to tell you as I'm not a doctor, however as I say in my video, I don't feel particularly sad I just used to not care about anything, you don't particularly care if you live til 90 or die tomorrow because you're so numb to everything. Depression can't be pigeon holed into crying yourself to sleep every night and not being able to get out of bed, it's often having no hope and no aspirations because you don't care about anything. Every case is different but I know the feelings you're describing X.
+Lauren Wanders Have you since tried mindfulness A book I am trying now is titled 'Mindfulness - An eight week plan for finding peace in a frantic world'. It gives good information surrounding mindfulness. I'm hopeful that mindfulness will help to shut off the excessive thinking that I must be doing, because I don't realize it's happening..
+Leila Buffery thanks for this video it makes me realize that im not alone..i stopped taking anti depressant like what u did and all of a sudden all goes down. it cames back..this video makes me feel im not im taking sertraline serenata for 3 days now..
To start (in short) I did the same thing you did. I had severe depression and anxiety attacks but did NOT want to be on medication... for whatever reason. Trial and error until I found the "right med", and then felt better. About a year and a half later I was driving on some sunny day and thought "life is good, I'm happy, but I feel like I can't experience colorful emotions anymore on this medication (remeron/mirtazapine or whatever)... I'm going to stop medication". So I did, cold turkey and just kept the emergency tabs around for severe panic/anxiety. It worked but I had a hell of a withdrawal and brain zaps would induce anxiety for weeks on end. Now, 7 years later, my anxiety has returned for the last year or so and I know I'm not being myself. My doc gave me a low dose of escitralopram (generic lexapro, my spelling is off). But I'm too scared to just swallow the tab because I don't want to feel the side effects, I just wish I knew if it would work. Hmm. You're personality is lovely as are your tattoos. I feel like I could definitely benefit from a low dose SSRI because I know that helped me in my past, but at the same time I know now its 'just anxiety' (not any heart issues or whatever my mind makes up). But... even knowing that, I still feel generally uptight every other day for literally no reason. I'm not myself, and I want to get out of this little hole. Penny for your thoughts.
Did you ever think you were not getting enough vitamin D(the sun) in the winter The antidepressants WILL make you look and act crazy if you just stop them. And after time of taking them your depression will get worse and you will feel worse to the point you don't want to live plus the weight gain, liver failure, diabetes, ect... and that's if your not forced on a antipsychotic because your antidepressant made you act and look crazy and get diagnosed as bipolar, psychotic, ect... Because then you will be wishing you were only depressed. I tell you this because my woman has gone through hell because of these drugs and it started out just like your story and many others, of course the death toll from these drugs keep many from ever telling their story. Hope you find the real problem and treatment for your depression, because NO Pharmaceutical drug is safe or worth the hell it brings..

Hiya. Firstly I'm really sorry to hear someone close to you has suffered like that. Secondly, yes I'm aware of my vitamin D situation and I use a sun lamp throughout the winter. I've never looked or acted crazy even when coming off them, I just felt really down. I've been on them for a year and a half now and I feel totally normal, I have down days like anyone else but my outlook is so much brighter. They're probably not going to be in my life forever, but for now they're helping me to run a business, work full time, stay in a happy and healthy relationship and make videos like this so I'm all good. :).

Hi I'm currently going through depression. Thanks for sharing your story, it gives me hope! LOL.

i just started taking antidepressants two weeks ago, not feeling much different, but lets wait a bit. I won't let my college goals slip. lets face it. depression is my old friend, and finally I dont mind taking pills. btw you are soooo pretty :) lets fight it!.
+John Ny i never tried meditating but i do excercise if I get out of Bed. yesterday was the first time in a year I went jogging, tata what I am proud of now. +okochannel You can definitely be proud of that. There has been good research done on meditation and depression. There are good apps for it, that do all the thinking for you. You just have to sit down, and do what it says. I use "Calm". It has free guided meditations. You could also use "Headspace".. I know a lot of people have already said this, but thank you SO much for sharing your story. Just hearing it has helped me out a lot. I started out on 10mg of Citalopram and am now on 20mg. I'm also in therapy and looking forward to feeling better. Thank you again..
Hi Leila, I just stumbled across this video and am impressed with your positive attitude. :) The best book I've ever read on depression is this one "The Breakthrough Depression Solution" by Dr James Greenblatt. It outlines a very personalized approach to dealing with depression, since "one size does not fit all." You might want to have a look at it. When you describe your situation, and also the S.A.D., it sounded to me like classic Vitamin D deficiency. Have you had your Vitamin D levels checked I wish you good luck on your health journey! :).

Love your channel and congrats on 1,000 subscribers woo hoo! Where did you get your 'follow your dreams' framed wall art Love it xxxx.
Thank you for this video, I could relate to everything you said as I pretty much have the exact same story. Stopped taking Citalopram in late spring because everything was amazing, but it's been slowly going downhill again since October. I bought a light box and it did help for a while, but a recent breakup completely tipped me over the edge. After ten days of insanity, yesterday I decided "Screw it. Don't wait until the suicidal thoughts have fully come back this time around. Get help." Best decision ever. My obsessive thoughts are gone and I feel so much lighter. I wish SSRIs didn't get such a bad rep... I so didn't want to take meds at first but seriously guys, they can save your life. Get help.. Do the antidepressants directly make you fat, or is it like you are craving more food when you are on them. Thank you for this video:) I'm actually pulling myself out of bed to take my first dose of lexipro today. I'm nervous about starting this medication, but your video has helped me:). Might be a personal question, but has your sex drive been effected on the new anti depressant That's something I'm worried about with anti depressants because mines already a bit low haha. Glad i ran into this video, im going to visit the doctor this week as i an losing my mind to irrational hopelessness.
when you described not being able to imagine feeling happy, and worrying about life being long, and being stuck like that forever...nailed it. glad you've managed to find some success with medication. my personal experience with depression/panic disorder has been pretty treatment resistant thus far, but hopefully brains can heal themselves!.
Hey this video was really helpful, but why did you say you didn't want to go back on the tablets, what was bad about them.
I'm so happy that this has been addressed, not enough people are educated enough on this topic and I hope you've helped people come to realise that depression and mental health isn't something to be ashamed of and it can be lived with. Your attitude always inspires me and i'm glad you're still able to be positive when it comes to mental health xxx.

this helps me so much. not joking... so thank you for filming this!! sometimes i feel so alone with this emptieness inside and all this negativ thoughts but see you talking about it and being positiv really gives me some hope. knowing i am not alone with this and other people can handle it..

I'm glad I discovered your channel (through Sam :D) you're a very inspiring person and I think you've reminded me of some things I know but needed someone to tell me again. Thanks for your videos :).
Im living in a similar situation! You're such an inspiration and you're actually a great role model (:.
it's not about being strong.. it's about strengthening your ability to shift your perception. start here: 1. go to nature. sit down comfortably. close your eyes. or maybe keep them open. 2. breath in deeply through your nose and out through your mouth for at least 20 minutes. once a day is good, twice is better. either will provide same day effects. use a timer. 3. try to let go of all your thoughts and then take note of the ones that do pop into your head. are they anxious are they fear based where are they coming from are you your thoughts or are you just a bifurcated segment of your total consciousness explore. this is an internal process and this is the beginning. 4. stay in nature. watch it. breath it in. know that you are made of it. note the contrast between your inner turmoil/dialogue and the peace and perfection surrounding you. 5. repeat. within 1 day you will feel better. perception and focus are like muscles in that can be developed with practice. and if you do get off the antidepressants, consider taking psilocybin. alone. in nature. or maybe do a peyote ceremony. either one should clear off those sad goggles..

this helps me so much. not joking. so thank you for filming this. sometimes i feel so alone with this emptieness inside and all the negative thoughts. knowing i am not alone and other people can handle it, helps so much!.
Thank you so much… when I came across your video, I was in a very bad place and your story and personality was very relatable and helpful to me. Thanks again. 👍. This video really helped me, tomorrow I'm starting with escitalopram and I'm actually kind of afraid about it.
I'm shit at words but this is really refreshing, I'm on citalopram and my doses keep getting higher and my mood keeps getting lower, thank you for making this, I could relate SO much to this (nice use of words maia d'oh) given me a kick to actually let all the emotions out to my therapists instead of locking myself away forever hahaha im so cheerful.

This is the second video I've watched of yours but I'm already in subscribing. I like how real you are and not fake like all the other youtubers .
Thank you for sharing your story. I seriously found this exactly when I needed it. Seriously, thank you so much for sharing this.. I read somewhere tha depression is "Disease of unfulfilled talents" - and I must say based on my experience its true. If you do everyday what truly fullfill you and make you happy, its much harder to get depressed. I have those "cloudy" days too, but always trying to ignore them as much as possible, and focus on stuff that makes me happy.. I'm a SADS sufferer, I've suffered with it since puberty but because my birthday falls in winter and it's inadvisable to give antidepressants to under 18s, I've had to go through 7 winters of depression unaided... really really useful to hear your experience as this year is potentially the first year I can get something to take the edge off so it's great to hear positives about antidepressants..
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I just got prescribed with antidepressants today and i came across your video. The things that you tell in your story is almost exactly what i have been feeling for years. Now finally im going to try this and hopefully they will help me. Thank you again. Greetings from Sweden!.
Thanks for an amazing video, I find it extremely relatable at this point in my life! I feel such a relief knowing that there are people all over the world who feel the same as me from time to time. I tend to be a bit skeptical about vlogs in general, but I'm a big fan of your vlog, I find it honest, relatable, informative etc. Cheers from Russia and keep up the great work!. Thank you so much for making this video! I've been on antidepressants for quite some time now (right now I'm on sertraline too), and it used to - and sometimes still does - make me feel so ashamed and bad about myself. Like ''why am I not strong enough to deal with this and I need pills to help me!''. I don't know if I'll ever be able to function ''normally'' without medication, which makes me sad sometimes, but it's like you said: if it helps you, why not use it It shouldn't be something to be ashamed of!.
this helps me so much. not joking... so thank you for filming this!! sometimes i feel so alone with this emptieness inside and all this negativ thoughts. knowing i am not alone with this and other people can handle it too helps me so much..
thank you for this video I've been suffering for a while I hate when people like this guy call me weak I was sad over him and just stuff going on in my life. It's not weak, it's actually really brave to talk about it. That guy sounds like a dick, take back your power xxx. I know this is a personal question but I'm considering taking antidepressants I want to know is you sex drive still low, or is it ok. Really loved this video, so glad you made it as you always talk about things in such a positive way. You never seem preachy so I wouldn't worry!. Thank you for your video. I watched a ton of others and yours was the one that got through to me and made the most sense. Thanks. I think I'm going to finally go to the doctor now because of your video, keep doing what you're doing gorgeous. 💜. this was an incredibly inspiring video. im proud of you for making it that far. I never met you and maybe never will but you're an awesome person. this positivity is really helpful and I'm glad you made this video. I don't know how to properly thank you for inspiring me so much with this video (and also with becoming vegetarian and trying out to become vegan right now). have an amazing day and keep being the person you are. thanks for creating this channel, thanks for sharing your thoughts, opinions and experiences with us, it helps me a lot.:) thanks for creating this video.:). thank you for this video. I've been debating with myself over going on anti depressants or not mostly due to the stigmas but the way you have spoken about it has really made me feel better about possibly going on them. Really has given me hope :). I'm so happy to hear this, if they're not for you, you can wean yourself off them but if they do work for you they can be brilliant. Xxxx. Honestly I haven't really had any, at all. I know that's not the same for everyone but two of my close friends who have taken it didn't have side effects either x. I've been struggling with depression since I was 12 and anxiety since I was 9 (I'm now almost 17), but I've never had a good experience with the doctors. I went about 2ish years ago after my mum took me to see my GP as she was really concerned about my wellbeing but they didn't help at all. Last year I had to go through a police case and I go referred to a mental health place where they said I was going to get therapy and put on anti-depressants. I went to go for my first appointment in January this year and they told me that my therapist had just left but I was at the top of the list for the next one available, and they never got back to me. After watching this video I think I'm going to go back and have another try to get help, because it's not fair that they let me down like that and i don't want to feel like this all the time anymore. Thankyou for sharing your story xxx.

I was up to 60 mgs and could not eat if I ate I felt like I was gonna puke so doc put me down to 30 mgs.. . +bad4utobme, I to took this medication about 4 years ago but it seemed to make my vision blurry. I was so happy to have extra energy and less pain due to fibermyalgia but learned of the other side effects so I had to slowly get off of the medication. Are you still on it and how many milligrams do you take I started low and went up to 60. Like I said before, I had so much energy and lost 18 lbs which I needed to lose with no problem but the blurry vision is what scared me. Hope you are doing better..

notice how he keeps talking about B12 deficiency almost as if he's making a direct attack against vegans Cheap/sly tactic typical of Jews. B12 deficiency has no scientific merit btw. Why not mention the millions who die of heart disease and cancer directly due to a piss poor SAD diet rich in MEAT and dairy that you love to advocate Do you seriously only get patients who are sick because of B12 deficiency Typical Jew. Jews only care about money. He's just trying to sell you his garbage supplements and e-books. don't listen to this fraudulent charlatan. Typical, tsk tsk. Get an education from Eselstyn kiddo. god his hand gestures are so annoying. like he got some coaching from the same guy who taught obama or clinton. LMAO at recommending seafood and lamb!! ahahahahaha.
how do I send you Dr. Hymen a message and get and answer straight to me.I have my you tube channel under Sandra Wetzel Collins.

+Tobias Greenlord To Tobias Greenlord, you are an evil little troll aren't you You are definitely lacking something in your diet to be so cruel, ignorant and a racist you need help. The anger you have to post four times and the things you say is the reason people keep their doors locked at night. lol. lol this guy knows nothing about nutrition its kinda hilarious. he just makes these overgeneralized statements all the time that further discredit him. Like Yoda. LAXCK OF SEADFOOD LEADS TO DEPRESSIOn, DEPRESSION LEADS TO SADNESS< SADNESS LEADS TO MURDER. this guy is an idiot. no wonder Hilary loves him so much. I listened to the entire audio book Ultramind solution and I learned a lot of things I was unaware of. It is a very motivating book, I thought I knew everything about vitamins, brain health, diet and I learned SOOOO much that I had never heard before and made sense. I will be reading the book he did on blood sugar next..

How can people take omega three when it gives them gas and how do you choose the right one My son says they all taste awful and they do!.

Doctors prescribe what pays in coins and golf courses... not the best a human should take in a particular health situation..

Great video and it's so true. People profiting from the modern eating habits don't like to put this kind of information out there. Thanks for being one of the one's who try to give education on real treatment and prevention..
this is really important drug companies want us to take their products when the causes of mood disorders are greatly misunderstood with a number of correlate causes. . Why are people saying scam It's a 20 dollar book it's not like your investing in something. He is actually doing this to help people, that's why he also puts these videos up.. Right on brother. I have read that grass fed beef contains a much better fat profile than your typical grocery store beef. - Contains omega three fats. You are what you eat, and what you eat, eats..
This stuff is true. But you have to find live source, cell resonant substances that have the highest bio-availability. Dr. Bob Marshall is a genius who has created hundreds of these products. Look him up. His research/insight will change your life..
because people are brainwashed that allopathic medicine is the only form of medicine that has any merit. They are closed minded, let them get on 10 different drugs and die at 56 because they never dealt with their disease, and valued Big Macs over health and wellness. To each their own. Hyman rules. . 2 profetaparaMexico hahahaha. HE'S confused Read Attachment, evolution, and the psychology of religion. These guys are professors and experts in their field. who are you. The way you speak reminds me of Dale Breckenridge Carnegie the American writer, lecturer, the man who influenced me most and taught me more about life than anyone else, every time i have to make a decision and cant i turn to him through his books.. Dr. Hyman, PLEASE REPLY. It's important to me to remain vegan. I eat walnuts and take flax oil every day. Is this adequate for me for omega 3 fatty acids. Just that I don't use allopathic medications daily and that I have most of my food organic, raw, etc... I am grateful. .
if you start thinking your depressed you start to think there is something wrong with you thats why we start to feel unhappy and self pity. if you just think depression is no existent and you start not to think negative, youll feel better..
Notice how he is always looking at the screen. That is focus and true clarity in mind, not many speakers can do that..
As far as Omega 3 Fatty Acids there is: ALA, EPA and DHA The body can convert ALA to EPA and then into DHA, but they say it doesn't do it easily. ALA is in seeds and nuts and leafy green veggies. EPA and DHA are actually only in fish because they get it from algae which actually make the fatty acids. So there's some vegan supplements that have these oils sourced from algae. Try Deva Nutrition (Vegan Brand) they have DHA from algae. Hope that Helps..
He said "we evolved" for 5 million years with this diet, You could also say we evolved from fish, hundreds of millions of years ago. We have inherited many of the environmental genetic adaptations of our pre human ancestors. We didn't suddenly start from scratch when we became human. And we only gradually became human over hundreds of millennia. So how our ancestors of 5 million years ago adapted to their environment is still part of our design..
Wow... Brain is Omega-3 What 35% in violent crime from *just* taking fatty-acid supplements What crack is this guy smoking I want some, if it'll leave my skin looking that fake-baked..
This man is so confused. Brain damage is NOT the same as the so called broken brains disease.(broken souls). Nobody can fix or will ever fix broken souls with food or medications.Broken souls can only be fixed by faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God..
