Extracted oils are junk food...they are pure fat and offer no vitamins or nutrients...maybe trace amounts of nutrients, but it's best to quit eating extracted oils.     As a practicing physician, I always recommend this diet. It can reduce heart disease risk, keep existing cardiac problems in check, reduce blood triglycerides and blood pressure as well as soothe stiff arthritic joints..

    If I was not erectly clear, the Fruit (eggplant, peppers,tomatoes, potatoes (except for any green portions)) is perfectly safe to eat. But do NOT eat any of the green leafy parts of the plants or any green spots on potato!.

    I make almost this exact same thing but I add a couple cups of spinach and sometimes oatmeal in place of hemp. spinach makes it really creamy and has vitamins that help muscles. nice video thanks:)).

    i would make it with a cup of kefir added to this or half cup..why, milk kefir is very rich in vitamin k and k2, which are the most beneficial for bones health, i used to have finger arthritis before, long gone now since i drink kefir daily. adding fruits and honey acts as a prebiotic ''good food for the bacteria'' so it would help them i guess and perform better.     it's TurMERic. lol. yes a great smoothie. all fresh smoothies help combat arthritis. having an alkaline diet stops the inflammation. ginger and turMERic esp good, but i became allergic to turmeric when i took it for arthritis pain. i think i over did it at first. i was taking it in pill form. .
    I would add cayenne, but I add cayenne to just about all my smoothies. You are a great testament to what a lot of ladies could look like with proper nutrition and diet. It's hard to believe you were born 1964 or earlier..

    this stuff only reduce inflammation, you need to rebuild tissue. Im not sure about hemp seed doing that or almond milk for that matter. Everything else besides the spices just have vitamins and sugar. Will help anyway, point is this will only take care of some painful symptoms and its probably cheaper to buy those new anti-inflammatory drugs..

    I am under the impression that heating/cooking greatly increases the bioavailability of turmeric. (As does fat content, which is why the hemp seeds are NOT actually without purpose). Some also say that black pepper increases Dapoxetine. If this is true, then as healthy as your recipe looks, an old fashioned curry dish might actually accomplish more anti-inflammatory results..
    an alternative to hemp seed is flax seed which contains a large portion of omega 3 and works just as good.
    Tried it today. Found it a little bitter so maybe I used just a little too much turmeric Also, while I'm not a fan of ginger I did put a good sized chunk. I definitely wanted the arthritis fighting effect. However, tomorrow I'll try it again with slightly different amounts..

I will have to re-watch and try it again though.. 2 Liendelou I'm not a doctor, so I can't comment on that. But if nuts made my arthritis worse then I would eliminate the almond milk and use water instead..
    You really wont taste the tumeric. I use it all the time, especially if using ginger or sweet fruits like banana as they're pretty strong flavours, tumeric is not. However, the one side effect I get is that I get a very slight odor reminiscent of curry powder if I sniff my armpit without any deo on! But i do mean 'very slight'. Tumeric is great for arthritis, or any inflammatory condition (cancer included) and i use them alternately with expensive Omega 3 capsules, for my intensive gym classes..

    I don't know, I imagine it would be different for each person and their condition. Please consult your health practitioner as I'm not a doctor. Thanks for understanding..

    Love this smoothie! Used 2 teaspoons of German "curry spice mix" (turmeric plus cumin, garlic(!), fenugreek, and coriander seeds) instead of plain turmeric, and I love it. Plus, I don't strain my almond milk (I'm lazy), but it still works!!.
    If it's not too much trouble, could you please give me your wife's alkaline and anti-inflammatory diet I have arthritis in all of my joints and do not wish to continue using NSAIDS to relieve the pain.     you should try a supplement called zyflamend for your arthritis. it's all natural and it's focused on anti-inflammation. it might take a week or so to really feel a difference though..

    I am so ashamed of myself. I live in a large house with a large kitchen and lots greens growing wild in my yard, yet I do not juice. Yet here you are living in a RV and juicing like crazy. My joints are aching and I feel terrible, dam it, I am getting off my but right now and going downstairs to juice some of those greens growing in my garden.. I am so impressed with the speed of your juicer - my Champion doesn't compare. My jaw dropped when you juiced an entire bunch of parsley at once - wow! It takes my Champion so much longer. I have a big juicer, but what I actually use, is a $15 Hamilton Beach blend and go type blender. All you have to do is cut the vegies smallish, and add water or canned juice. It works decent, and you get all the pulp. Use recipies like they show on the nutribullet infomercials. .

    +faith sieling Some folks have trouble with dairy. I am also an anti-inflammatory nutrition guy and went to school with Dr. Axe. I am pretty sure he didn't mean for us to make dairy a staple, or for those who avoid it to begin consuming it. The truth is that dairy isn't all that inflammatory for those who can tolerate it, as long as it's not a staple. If dairy is upsetting you, it might be because of a lactose problem or some other intolerance, possibly casein. Also, grain-fed meat is highly inflammatory, so you might have bad reactions due to what the animal ate. Focus on grass-fed meats, and fish is generally very healthy, so you might do yourself a favor to add certain meats to your diet. Unless your objection is an ethical one, or unless you have some allergy or other rare contraindication, it only makes sense for omnivores to incorporate at least a little meat into the diet. I am not familiar enough with Dr. Axe's other teachings to comment on them, but his assertions in this video have mountains of evidence to support them..

Seems its favorite food of koel, i have seen them eating this near my home too.. +jai prakash Singh i have never before seen any bird eating these berries, maybe because they are rarely given time to mature. The plant is easily infested with white mites - unwanted guests, which cause people to cut the vines down early. Even this one never had a chance before, but i sacrificed the TV cable and clothes line to its growth and was rewarded by those beautiful berries plus the bonus of Koel's visit every evening for the past 4 days:-).

    +mbhsug Wahrscheinlich machen die Beeren high - nach den Gesangsarien zu urteilen, die Herr und Frau Kuckuck (um diese handelt es sich hier) nach Verzehr der roten Pracht liefern.     I've had RA for almost 50 years, since age 5, and in my observation the only thing all RA patients have in common is that they're all different. Some patients I know have done very well on specific diets, though by no means is diet alone a "cure" for any autoimmune disease. I'm not saying DON'T try any diet that's healthy, just don't rely on it alone to cure you. RA is a serious disorder, it can be as damaging and deadly as cancer. YES, a good diet, weight control, exercise, mindfulness, and any number of alternative therapies can and do help. YES, some patients find that certain foods are triggers than makes their symptoms worse. But please don't beat yourself up if you try a diet purported to cure an incurable disease, and it doesn't work. It's not your fault..

This is an autoimmune disease where your own body attacks itself. Medication does wonders for thousands of people, but medicating an unhealthy body and then blaming the medication is just wrong. .
    I've had early RA-like symptoms in my finger joints flare up time to time for the last 4 years. None of the classic or associated markers have ever been off (RF, ANA IgG, Anti-CCP, TNF-alpha, IL-6, vitamin D). I've been vegan for 18 months, high-carb raw vegan/fruitarian, mostly Natural Hygiene for 12 months now (supplement B12, tanning bed in winter, never tried fasting though). That's as alkaline as you can get naturally. Turmeric with black pepper mashed in avocado and lemon juice in the evenings, adding turmeric and black pepper to all my fruit smoothies (yes, it does taste weird), as well as the water from raw potato slices soaked in cold water overnight in the morning helped me during my last flare-up (which was the worst I've ever had). I have Raynaud's phenomenon, so does my mom and she's had these kinds of symptoms as well (albeit very rarely compared to me). 50% of the RA risk is considered to be genetic. I've been to the doctor twice now, rheumatologist once - no clue. It's been coming up since last week, so I'm going to the doctor's for the third time tomorrow. The nurse said it and Raynaud's could be due to low thyroid ("lazy", as she put it), but I eat 4000+ kcals on average and I'm a very low BMI (17.0 - 6'2", 133 lbs) and body fat (5-9%, bioimpedance), active endurance runner (been very skinny since childhood).     RA can be tricky early on. My mom had RA for years before she was properly diagnosed because the labs kept coming back as normal. If you keep having pain and swelling get your labs retaken..

    well, i've got RA, have had arthritis for a long time, but this last flare was crazy and went thru my whole body, i just knew that i had to stop eating anything bad, the last 3 days or so, just been drinking water with lemon in it, and having a bowl of watermelon near the end of the day, spent most of the time sleeping/detoxing, and now i feel sooooo much better, clean inside and pain MUCH diminished.

    I am 21. I have had arthritis, since I was 13 years old, plus I've been prone to other inflammatory diseases that have came and went depending solely on diet.     Yes, yes, sugar is bad and most of us eat way too much of it. But I've avoided sugar for 8 years now and recently had my first gout flair up. I now think that a low-carb diet can also promote the condition because it makes your body more acidic, which is more favorable for uric acid and crystal formation. So, by all means, cut out the sugar. But the idea that cutting out sugar will prevent the condition is naive.     Hmmmmmm very interesting. Ive been on a diet the past 4months. And ive never been a big sweet eater. About two months ago I started craving sweets because my body was craving magnesium (what my doc said) and since ive never really been into sweets I said why the hell not. I started eating sweet cereal, drinking sugared drinks, grabbing candy bars at the store, etc. As long as I stayed within my diet I was fine to eat sweets. I normally have one gout flare a year to every two years. I've really figured out what causes gout for me. Stay away from pork and shrimp! Moderate myself on redmeat, and white fish, drink little to no alcohol. This has worked for me for 6 years so far. And when I do get a flair its about 3days and I can always still walk (painfully) but still able. Three weeks ago after all the sweets without eating any real (of my) triggers. I had a real bad flair. It started in my left side of my left ankle, a week later moved on top of all my toes, now its also on the back of my ankle and inside ankle. I haven't been able to walk at all for two weeks! Ive been taking all my meds, and it doesn't seem to want to go away. For the life of me I couldn't think what I did to cause this flair. Ive been losing weight, exercising, eating much better (besides the sweets) No pork or shrimp. I drink 2 gallons of filtered water a day. But now this really does make a lot of sense. Sorry for the long post, but thank you so much for sharing this, now I can make the changes in my lifestyle to avoid another flair..

Cannabinoid receptors act as binding sites for endogenous cannabinoids as well as cannabinoids found in marijuana. When cannabinoids bind to CB1 or CB2 receptors, they act to change the way the body functions. While cannabinoid receptors are primarily expressed in the brain and immune system, researchers have identified cannabinoid receptors in a variety of other places as well, including the peripheral nervous system, cardiovascular system, reproductive system, and gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. Cannabinoid receptors continue to be identified in unique parts of the body as research on the endocannabinoid system progresses. What Does It Do Interestingly, the endocannabinoid system is not unique to the human species. Rather, research has shown that this system is common to all humans and vertebrate animals and even some invertebrate animals suggesting its significance in the process of evolution. Experts believe that natural selection has conserved the endocannabinoid system in living organisms for 500 million years. Although the endocannabinoid system affects a wide variety of biological processes (such as appetite and sleep), experts believe that its overall function is to regulate homeostasis. Homeostasis is a key element in the biology of all living things and is best described as the ability to maintain stable internal conditions that are necessary for survival. Disease is simply a result of some aspect of failure in achieving homeostasis, making the endocannabinoid system a unique target for medical applications." That's enough for now. It's out there. Am I correct Could you redo this with a short script and finish what you are doing in the blender In other words, I think you have some good information but you were rambling on.     "It can create an acidic environment" Show me the source. Fruits CAN be acidic (lemons, oranges, etc.), but they do NOT create an acidic environment in your body. Is he talking about someone who eats lemons all day That would probably mess you up, but eating lots of bananas BS.. too much fruits leads to high blood sugar which causes excessive candida overgrowth...however some good fruits that are low in natural sugar are lemon, limes, berries, and kiwis =D.

    I have Arthritis; to ease the pain I follow an alkalizing diet drinking the diluted juice of a lemon a day. I don't add sugar, I only add water. When I do this, it helps..

    regarding minerals... diatamaceous earth is supposed to be good thing to take in order to help your body uptake minerals. I am not a Raw Foodie but YOU are my FAVORITe Raw Expert!     I have had Native American Medicine Men and Chinese Herbal Healers say a 3 to 5 day diet of only one fruit preferably apples, pinapple or pears will detoxify your complete system, but shouldn't be done more than once a month....
