D. Murray: for some reason it won't allow me to REPLY to your comment, but here goes about the counterclockwise spinning: I recommend always spinning clockwise - your body will get used to it. Usually people ask about spinning counterclockwise in the southern hemisphere so I did some research: People in the Southern Hemisphere should be spinning clockwise as well, because all the sources I found that seem well-researched say that it's the body's energetic systems that are responding to the clockwise direction of the spin, and the force that makes ocean currents and weather currents go counter-clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere is too subtle and large to affect an individual body's systems. On the sites that recommended switching directions for the Southern Hemisphere, there was no supporting research at all to support the suggestion just a vague notion about water going counter-clockwise down drains. .
Hi Leila. Thanks! Send me an email and I'll send you an mp3 of "Precious." The Rites should be practiced every day. The first week practice 3 of each Rite, and then add 2 more repetitions of each Rite every week. In week two, you’ll practice 5 of each Rite; in week three, practice 7 of each Rite. As you continue adding 2 repetitions per week, you will be up to 21 of each by week ten. Once you are up to 21 of each Rite, you’ve reached the optimal practice, and all you need to do is maintain 21 of each per day. Hi Ellen, is it ok to do these during pregnancy I just found out about this and I am 22 weeks pregnant and could do with a boost to my energy. I have done yoga 2-3 times a week before pregnancy and I practice pre natal yoga as well. Could I modify these a bit and still do them Thank you! . Your intuition sure seems right, but I did what Kelder says in "The Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth": Stand erect with arms outstretched, horizontal to the floor, palms facing down. Then in Kelder's "Eye of Revelation" a manuscript recently found and edited by J.W. Watt: The first position of the Rite is to kneel on a rug or mat with hands at sides, palms flat against the side of legs. Then lean forward as far as possible, bending at the waist, with head well forward - chin on chest. Glad I looked that up - my head hasn't been far forward enough lately - my chin hasn't been on my chest. Anyway, keep doing them. It's amazing what they do for us. +Amanda Soltwisch Dearest Amanda. Your "afternoon funk" most likely has nothing to do with the Tibetan Rites. It's probably about your mind and what's going on inside your head. Often the mind gets stuck in negative thoughts and can't find a way out. Your words, spoken out loud or sliently as thoughts, program your subconscious mind and your subconscious mind sends signals to your body to release hormones that can affect your mood. I believe that the most important thing for us to do in life is to manage our "frequency." We start by noticing what we're thinking and feeling. If we feel anger or shame or some other emotion that makes us miserable, we sit with that emotion and feel it as strongly as possible. Then we drop the story (that's the hardest part because often we don't want to let go of the story.) And if we check in and find our mind is filled with love and joy, we go out and spread that love and joy all over the place. I recommend continuing with the Tibetan Rites. They're not about building muscles, they're about getting your 7 energy centers all spinning at the same rate of speed: that of a robust 25-year-old. Love, Ellen.

Love the song. Perfect pace for this. Yes #2 toes flexed under, and no forward pose in the book. In the book, stand up, breathe deeply to reflect on the body before the next movement. I started with just 3 a day (lazy), now up to 7x 7x (still lazy). Hard at first. My body hated me. So many snap crackle and pops! In 2 wks, my knees kneel all the way, and lower back is less backed up. I have more energy and now I can't sleep!.

You've got chifosis at thoracal part of spine. The 2nd rite doing "wrong". Do not bend head to much forward. Also in 4th..

I'm still very young but I don't feel as vital as I should. But your results has inspired me to try again.. The fountain of youth in your body is at the root, the origin of your genitalia, inside between your bellybutton and anus. The point is the center of your body. People thinks the breathing as O2/CO2 interchange by lung. It's very bad idea for human. The great idea is to breath by the center of our body, more n more slowly.. The whole purpose is to get the seven energy centers (vortexes) spinning at the same rate of speed: that of a robust 25-year-old. The seven centers are: two in the head, one at the base of the throat, one at the right side at the waist, one in the sexual center, and one in each knee. This is beautiful Claudia, I'm going to do this exact routine until I can do inversions. One thing, would you do the same video but with no audio and just deep breathing (so I know when to breathe in/out) :).
