    The countries with the highest dairy consumption have the highest rates of osteoporosis. Yes we need calcium, but dairy is a false economy as regulating its foreign, acidic effects leaches Ca from the bones. The calcium cycle is a normal part of human biochemistry but not like that..     Do your homework before you comment. Dairy and osteoporosis are related only if dairy is unnatural and adulterated: homogenized, pasteurized, skimmed, microwaved etc. And if coming from animals that have not been raised in a natural and sustainable way, i.e. animals fed with corn and soy, containing pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and chemical fertilizers; animals, getting antibiotics, vaccines and other synthetic ddugs; animals that are not free range and never see green grass, sun or fresh air. You can bet that anything coming from such animals will make you sick because these animals are sick themselves..

    Avoid any farmed fish. The reason is because they are fed grain-based foods like ground corn, etc and they are given antibiotics and they have less omega 3s. Wild fish eat more natural algaes and have more omega 3s..

    Have you ever picked up a 100 pound bail of hay That's how much weight in sugar the average American consumes in 9 months, or 270 days. ANY advice that involves whole foods is good advice given the pathetic state of the American diet. I'm certainly not going to nitpick around nuances regarding meat, saturated fat, toxic chemicals, or trans fats. I'm just going to sit tight with the knowledge that people need to begin making healthy changes, and in a country where 25% of our daily calories come from sugar, tomato sauce on school lunch pizza is considered a vegetable, and our single biggest daily vegetable consumption comes from french fries, virtually any change is a step in the right direction..
    each body system is unique... our body works differently... some can eat a lot of food with toxins and still survive... some people are very careful of what they are eating but still got sick.. poor people don't even know what is the best diet and yet they still live some even healthy..     She mentions that you need about 2000 C in order to have the nutrients that your body needs. A Calorie is a unit of energy, there is no relationship between a common understanding of Calories and nutrition. If you ingest any empty Calories (soda/sugar...) then you either deplete your nutrients or eat more to make up for it. I agree with all of the foods she recommends, and if you do eat lightly processed real food then you will not even need 2000 C to maintain health. .

What she meant was, that if you simply cut down food intake in an effort to reduce calories, you might risk also getting rid of essential nutrients, which, in practice, many people incidentally do. She speaks over an hour about a quality of the food we take in, so it is completely clear, she doesn´t think that calories automatically bring essential nutrients with them. Now, if you drastically cut down calories by excluding not just processed foods (which is a good thing to do anytime), but also dense wholesome foods like nuts and eggs, you actually might come short of some nutrients. Some nutrients, like vitamin E, or beneficial fatty acids for example, almost always come in high-caloric foods..

    I take GNC Vitamin D-3 2000 once a day prescribed by my doctor. The label reads "essential for calcium Dapoxetine and strong bones". I am 56, I don't have a calcium deficiency yet...but I do have a Vitamin D deficiency. Since take this from GNC..my calcium is fine and Vitamin D is good. . Great tips! There are several ones you've suggested I might try. I can always use the inspiration...or kick in the pants :D .

    Try any of the no calorie Drops, that you put in water...I switched from Diet coke to water with grape drops (Dasani), I drink at least 4 bottles a day with ease.
